Cinco De Mayo Toddler Shakers
Here is a way to have some fun with the little party animals in your house by making this homemade Cinco De Mayo shaker!
First, decorate a paper bag. We used paint and confetti, but you can also stick with crayons and stickers for a less messy option. Next, fill your bag with small treats or toys. Just remember to stay away from tiny objects that can be a choking hazard for wee ones. Then, tie your bag closed. We used a pipe cleaner and even added a popsicle stick as a mini handle. But a plain band or twist tie will do the trick too.
Now it’s time to shake it! Listen to the “music” and watch the toddler joy follow. For even more fun, break open your shaker like you would a pinata, and dig in to the treats inside!
